Except my 2 1/2 year old daughter can’t figure out how to guide the lowercase and uppercase letters to the towers on the flying letters game on her reading pathway. It is way too difficult for her to try to judge the trajectory of the letters. It would be better if she could just touch and drag the letters to the correct tower spot. It is a wonderful reading program for my son. He has done the best reading ever with this program and we have gone through many programs trying to teach him to read.

He is in 2nd grade but so far has been more of a Kindergarten level reader but he has is gaining strides daily with Homer. I do wish it went higher in level for older kids struggling. I would enjoy this app more if I were able to control how much time is spent, if any, on the music video/art/game sections rather than on the path. My son has found those sections and now would rather do those than the path which makes the Homer App not worth it because he isn’t learning which is the point of the app. With a time restriction or maybe earning time to play on those sections after doing a certain amount of path it would be better and more useful.

My 2 year old wasn't challenged enough with Homer's 2 year old content. Would be great if you are just starting to learn shapes and colors however. Paid for renewal of yearly subscription in June and grandkids have basically been unable to use the subscription since. This App has always logged out randomly, then when tried to re-log on said wrong password. But now when reset password, logged in and clicked on cihild’s name, got the blue screen of death. So $50 for an unusable App — and no contact info available.
It’s one of the built-in incentives to learning. Once your child finishes a lesson, they can have fun free drawing/art time. I have spent hours upon hours checking out every aspect of HOMER.
